What Do We Provide

We employ a mindfulness-based approach with a goal of giving power back to the individual and working with them to understand what sustainable recovery means to them. We focus on 3 pillars to maintain sustainable recovery: Mindfulness, Healthy Lifestyle, and Movement –  it is up to the individual to decide which they want to focus on first.

Mindfulness Practice

This is at the core of our organization’s focus on sustainable recovery.  Mindfulness is not the same as meditation, rather it is a mindset that occurs naturally when focusing on the present.  We offer meditation and mindfulness classes, but the goal is for the individual to choose when they are ready for that. Simply by focusing on the other two pillars, mindfulness is built naturally.

Healthy Lifestyle Education

What we eat, how we sleep, and how we approach our life is at the core of many physical ailments.  Understanding this is vital in developing healthy lifestyle habits.  Discovering hobbies that promote wellness on a physical, mental or emotional level are important to building sustainable recovery.  We work to provide a space for people to explore what a healthy lifestyle means to them.

Movement & Bodywork

With movement there is joy. When movement is infringed upon by pain it can strip us of a powerful creative outlet for our energy and emotions.  Massage, Somatic work and energy work seek to bring the body back to balance and reduce the pain cycle.  Gentle movement classes restore confidence in your body’s ability to heal and move again.
